Our Lady Of The Day goes to a young aspiring model who’s not letting her disability cut off her dreams.
18-year-old Madeline Stewart who lives in Brisbane, Austrailia, has Down syndrome and is trying to change the public’s perception of it. On her Facebook page, Madeline writes that she wants to help “change society’s view of people with Down syndrome” and believes the exposure “will help to create acceptance.”
And that’s not the only thing she’s doing. Madeline is also doing gymnastics, dances, swims and is a cheerleader.
She’s an inspiration to everyone out there who has the illness or not. It’s proof that a person’s will, belief and determination to make a difference in this world is unstoppable when they’re passionate about it. Madeline is on her way to achieving that goal because I’m sure she’s motivated many already to do what she’s doing…breaking the mold, smashing the stereotypes, and going after your dream.
You go girl!
